it is our aspiration in order to

• increase the effectiveness of creating the Swietokrzyskie Innovation System by optimal use of the public and private funds dedicated to activities and initiatives related to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the Swietokrzyskie Region.
• develop innovation in the Swietokrzyskie Region in cooperation with the business support institutions, enterprises, educational and research institutions, local and regional government

WHAT WE DO

• carry out activities aimed at updating, operationalization and promotion of the "Research and Innovation Strategy (RIS3) of the Swietokrzyskie Region"
• coordinate the processes associated with the implementation of development policies in  the Swietokrzyskie Region in the area of ​​support for innovation and entrepreneurship
• conduct research and analysis of selected aspects of the innovativeness of the Region
• coordinate and search the synergy effects of pro-innovational and enterprising initiatives realized by our partners
• build and strengthen the regional partnership in the field of innovation
• monitor the processes of innovation in Swietokrzyskie Region
• organize and co-organize local initiatives to promote innovation and the Swietokrzyski Innovation System - cooperation with foreign partners
• cooperation with international, national and regional institutions in the field of innovation  policy.

OUR EXPERIENCE

Since our beginning , the unit has been engaged in projects concerning implementation of the innovation system in the region. So far we have realized:

• Persepktywy RSI Świętokrzyskie IV etap ( Perspectives of the Regional Innovation Strategy – IV stage);
• Perspektywy RSI Świętokrzyskie III etap ( Perspectives of the Regional Innovation Strategy – III stage);
• Perspektywy RSI Świetokrzyskie II etap ( Perspective of the Regional Innovation Strategy – II stage);
• Kręgi Innowacji ( The rings of Innovations);

Furthermore, we are engaged in a partnership project JOBTOWN implemented to improve the situation of young people in the labour market and increase their chances of developing and obtaining employment. The project involves the 11 cities in 9 countries in Europe.

The Innovation and Knowledge Transfer Unit takes part also as the associated partner in the Horizont 2020 called Reg-Health.
